Protest President Trump's exectuive order to change Denali's name to Mount McKinley.

President McKinley never set foot in Alaska. During his term in office, he did absolutely nothing for Alaska and was still neglecting the administration of Alaska. On top of that, the McKinley name came from a gold miner looking to protect gold prices so his mining operations were as profitable as possible. The mountain has a name that everyone who knew about the area used, and it was fine until the gold miner started writing articles in the lower 48 promoting his political cause.

Alaska has always called the mountain some form of Denali. Even the various Native people's names are all some form of the word Denali. Starting in 1975, Alaska requested to have the mountain's name returned to "Denali." This request was blocked by Ohio Congressman Ralph Regula for 30 years. Until he finally returned, when President Obama honored Alaska's sovereignty and returned the mountain's name to Denali.
